Dr. Egziti was born and raised in Ethiopia and graduated from Gondar University’s Medical School in 2005. He then relocated to the U.S. and subsequently went to the University of Texas Southwestern Austin Regional Program to finish his internal medicine residency.
Once he earned his Diplomate in Internal Medicine, Dr. Egziti recognized nephrology was something he was enthusiastic about, and he has stayed so all through his career. Dr. Egziti then applied for and was accepted for a nephrology fellowship at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX. Upon finishing his fellowship, he performed nephrology in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, before migrating to Houston, TX, for the warm temperatures.
Dr. Egziti picked Houston Kidney Specialists Center (HKSC) in 2019 because he wanted to work with a group of industrious, youthful, dynamic professionals who had all received their training at prestigious universities.
